A name has popped into my head but could be wrong. Mosh Marwick I believe had a number of big American cars in the 50s/60s.

Nah Dougie, this ker wisna Mosh's. He widna hiv been seen deed in a ker wi a bent numberplate. He did hiv some nice cars. I remember him driving the Royal Dance Band to gigs in a huge gold Ford Galaxy.

I am sure you are right, his cars were special and very unusual for Orkney at the time.I am sure he lived on one of the streets running up from the ducky pond and we stood looking at his cars on the way to school.

This is a Ford LTD estate car that belonged to the late Alaister Spence Wideford Farm St Ola.
