Yes, it's the old wooden hut that the Brownies and Guides used right next to the Paterson Church [now the OIC One Stop Shop/Reception].

Fourth from left on the front row is my Mum, Margaret Gibson (nee Jolly)!

brown owl (centre back) is Jeannie Watson, Marjorie Traill-Thomson in front of her was county commissioner. I can remember doing my semaphore badge in her garden in St Mary's in Holm a few years later. Front row 5th from right is Jennifer Wallis (Glaitness Rd) whose father I think worked for one of the banks.

Is it Ann Harvey rather than Eleanor Flett? Then Maureen Spindler, Karen Leith and Marion Wishart. Jinty Eunson 2nd left in front row, Joyce Duncan and Sheila Thompson either side of toadstool. Joyce Lamont 4th right in front row and Sandra Coutts far right. Willing to be corrected.

Barbara I think you are correct re it being Ann Harvey and Karen Leith. Cannot remember the name Sandra Coutts though but you are probably correct on that one too. It was so long ago. This photo was taken a year and a half after I had nearly died from Steven Johnson reaction to Penicillin and my memory for several years before and after is almost totally void. You can see how dark my skin still is a year after the reaction.

I think the person on Jeannie Watson's right is Nan Linklater/Harvey, who was a domestic science teacher travelling to the isles in the fifties
