Pitching the roof, Garson Flotta

This is a picture of my Great Grandad, Malcolm Flett, and my uncle (Malcolm, "Tommy" Flett) as they were waterproofing the roof of our croft, Garson on Flotta.
Picture added on 06 October 2007
Comments:
I can still smell the pitch and the wonderful scented air!
A mixture of honeysuckle, peat smoke, blackcurrant bushes and all the other goodies in the garden. Then on a calm still night,Heather blossom floating over Pan Bay! Gone for ever!
