I don't think this is the Flotta School picture. I don't recognize the dyke in the background......and if it was in 1945 I would be in there......

With the Rev Williams in the back row my guess would be Stenness.

It's a Stenness photo - either school or Sunday School. The late Rev. David Williams at back left and quite a few kent faces among the bairns.

Yes, that's Mr Samuel. didn't know he was in Sanday but he was in Stenness in 1953 when I started school.
