Boat on left is "Sea Fury" a former ship's lifeboat fitted out as a creel boat by the late Dougie Flynn.

The boat on the left belonged to my dad Allie Norquoy and I'm sittan in the Fiesta wae my Mum. Thanks fur showan this pick I niver kent it existed.

Linda might the boat belonging to your dad have been the boat that once belonged to old Davy Wilson from Lyness as sugested by Alan Besant in photo 14589?.

I don't know about that John. When I took this photo, I was unaware of the car. Now Linda comments that she was in the car with her Mum. So we have the men, Linda and her Mum, and me, all connected in a split second. That makes it more than just a photo of two boats. Thanks Linda.

Sorry I dont ken about Davy Wilson but I hiv a feelin that my dad bought it fae Michael or James Dickinson- could be wrong tho
