At the risk of sounding like an anorak, I think it was only the MkI mexico and sport that had the quarter bumpers and a slightly wider flare on the front wheel arches. I think I can see an old custom mod too, long spring hangers on the back for adjusting suspension height. And you don't see many rostyle wheels nowadays either.

It can't be 1979, there's a Red Mini Metro in the picture - BL aonly inflicted them on the great British public in August 1980.
