Pilot boat shell

This if I remember correctly was a pilot boat . Well a burnt out shell situated on the end of Kirwall pier 1978.
That is a young Brian 'Tapper' Walls of Sanday , for those who know him.

Comments:
I mind the day this boat was wrecked. It was taken (stolen) and the culprits forgot to open the seacocks and I think the exhausts went on fire. They jumped into the sea somewhere in the String where she sank. I think Smith Foubister salvaged the boat and got Willie Budge to get the engines out of her and running.
