Year is approximate! I think this photo is taken at Newtonhill, Stromness, but might be wrong! Starting from the left is my mother, Elsie Towers, John Pole (baby), Chrissie Campbell and Toni Pole.

Not taken at Newtonhill. Taken where they lived, houses used to be where "Fisheries" used to be in Stromness. Photo taken 1949.

If that is me it must be 1951. I was born at home in what became the fisheries (where my mother worked for a time!)
