From an old postcard printed in Germany.
This was the 1st Stromness L/B Station to be built within Stromnes Harbour, the previous station was at Ness.
Completed in 1902 this slipway/boathouse was used upto 1925 when it was replaced by building a new boathouse/slipway on top of this one, which is now owned by Scapa Scuba Diving Centre.
