Whilst I don't like to see any ship go down, I really don't agree with the type of "cruise" she was on. How many tons of fuel and oil from her grave are going to pollute one of the last untainted wilds of the planet?

Having been the port agent for this well found and extremely professionally run vessel during many of her calls to Kirkwall over the years, I also was saddened by the tone of that comment. Could it not be a case of nature reclaiming some naturally occuring products through natural means, and perhaps some 'Erse Aboot Face' conclusions!
