Mystery driver and William Swanson

This picture was taken in the 1930s, probably in Orkney, when William Arthur Swanson was home on leave - he was First Officer of the SS Tinhow and was lost in April 1943 when the ship was torpedoed off Mozambique. The passenger is William, elder son of Captain George B Swanson. The dog is probably Skerry, a black spaniel that used to cross the Pentland Firth with Captain Swanson. The driver is not known but may be a Reginald Charles Linton who acquired the car about 1936 and owned it until his death in 1971.
The car, fawn with red interior and black hood, was bought new in December 1930 or January 1931 at Galts in Glasgow by Captain, later Brigadier, George Streynsham Rawstorne, MC, Lord Lieutenant of Sutherland from 1948 until his death in 1962.
The driver is NOT Captain Rawstorne but it would be helpful if someone recognised him!! Or the location!!!
