Yet another view of the 1937 parade for the Coronation of King George VI. Someone will recognise the street and church I'm sure.
Nice old car in this shot too.

The parade is going up Palace Road, just passing where the tennis court used to be, behind the Earl's Palace. The church is the Congregational or Peedie Kirk. The street here still looks exactly the same.
