Picture taken approximately 1960. Bert Finlayson piano (my father), Norman Brass sax, can't remember drummers name, Eddie Peace accordion, can't remember other accordion players name, but dad tells me he was related to Eddie and Dougie Cooper double bass. Dad was a teacher at Kirkwall Grammar School 1955 - 1964.

The full band from the left, is as follows:Bertie Stockan (brother in law of Eddie Peace) on box, Dougie Cooper on double bass, Eddie Peace on box, Jackie Groundwater on drums, Norman Brass on sax and Bert Finlayson on piano.

The other accordion player could be Bertie Stockan, who was Eddie Peace’s brother in law.

Bert Finlayson the pianist passed away this week. At almost 94 he did very well and I assume that all members are now gone
