It looks like the adventure playground is under construction as well, from the sections of concrete pipe lying around. I didn't realise how new it was when I started school in 1972. Climbing into those pipes fairly scuffed the colour off your shoes!

I can’t see A block in this image, so this may be an older photo. The flat roof single storey block that connects the residential blocks hasn’t quite been built either it seems
