Tom Kent picture.

[Where is this? My guess would be that The Orcadian Bookshop now stands here. Date guessed - Steven]

A bit later than 1910, Steven - my eyesight's not what it was, but I'm sure one of those bottles in Wright's window has an expiry date of Oct 1936 on it. (The car's too modern as well.)

[So tempted to put 1936 as the date, but as Tom Kent died that year, maybe a bit late - say 1930? -Steven]

Whatever's in that bottle could be very 'long-dated'. I can't positively identify the car - I'm a bit surprised no true petrol-head hasn't done so - but it's pretty typical of British saloon cars first appearing about 1930. I'd say 1930 is the earliest date for the photo.

If you could manage to pick out the names of the pictures showing at the Albert Kinema from the notice board, that would narrow the date. Then a look at the newspapers for a report of the accident that resulted in the demolished wall might give it to the week.

As I said Paul, my eyesight's not what it was. (Neither is my grammar it seems; sorry for the double negative.)
