Still Game at weather mark on first day of 2013 Snipe Nationals being sailed at Stromness. My crew that day was John Skea.
We didn't have a good day, got disqualified for not going through the starters gate at end of first lap in this race whilst lying about 7th out of the 16 local boats. (Should have known better) Then a bolt holding the jib fairlead decided to give up the ghost in the 2nd race, so we had to retire.
Shame no one appears to have a picture of the next leg as the reach down the Clestrain shore that day was fast, probably as fast as I have gone in a Snipe!
