I think it might be slightly later than 1950 as I imagine that model of Vauxhall would be aboot 1954 or 55 vintage though I have to admit I wis only a peedie boy then. Austin Lorry of that type fairly common in Orkney and I wonder if Tom Sclater maybe had one about that colour. Hopefully David Tullock, Jack Shearer or one of the Vintage guys will put me right on the car age.
