This is a pic given to me by my mother after the sad death of William Mitchell (MY FATHER) who was a mech on Loyal Proctor for a number of years at Inverness/Thurso/etc...
No idea of pic date but i believe it could be taken in Inverness. On the back of the pic dad had written "a rose between two thorns." i would suggest he was having a laugh and was more like a thorn between two roses. Maybe some people on here will recognise him.

Willie was my husband for 32 wonderful years. Willie loved his job he said he met so many lovely people who became his friends
