picture #1351, which I was looking at just minutes after posting the above shot on another site, has exactly the same error: two reversed Ns. I don't think this is a particularly common mistake; seeing it twice within moments is rather an amazing coincidence. Gave me a jolt anyway.
The above example - in which you can see the correct letters have actually been painted out - was on a poolside door on board the former cruise-ship Black Prince, once a well known visitor to Orkney.
