I think this picture dates to the 1960's or early 1970's as that looks like Norman Johnstone sailing Kontiki. By the time I started racing in mid 1970's Norman had retired and it was Kenny who raced her.

I also think this is earlier than 1980, probably the '60s. My father and I took over Fleetiwng in 1959, from 'Old' Alfie Flett. The sails were orange, but I don't think that's us, so possibly a bit later. Young Alfie would be able to tell you who sailed Fleetwing next and Freddie Johnstone (Holm) would be another good source of information. We move on to Firewood and then Sceptre.
