Singapore Airlines flight SIA21 passes to the north of Orkney en route from New York to Singapore last week, the world's longest scheduled flight at over 9500 miles and 18+ hours. Loganair's Papay to Westray, the world's shortest scheduled flight is added for comparison! The SIA21 service is ending this year due to increasing costs. Image from the Flightradar website.
