Monkey Puzzle - Araucaria araucana - growing at Happy Valley. It seems to do quite well in Orkney, although it can be slow to get going when young. It is quite hardy here, indeed, it will even grow in the Faroes, being tolerant of salt in the atmosphere. Photo taken 24/7/12
