Ceanothus thyrsiflorus var. repens

Ceanothus thyrsiflorus var. repens growing in a sheltered spot in a Finstown garden. Ceanothus plants are not very hardy - they come from N. America, and their distribution is centred on California. They are beautiful, however, and some gardeners reckon that they are worth the risk in growing them.
