Think this is how some of their Renewables gear will end up... can you imagine the power needed to tear an engine apart like this..

What purpose are the series of 6 "flanges" (?) on the drive shaft to the right of the crank assembly? I have seen these on various other wrecked engines of similar vintage

Think they are a thrust bearing....
