Egilsay Community School - June 12, 2012. This is Glen Henderson of Toronto, Canada in front of the schoolhouse where his great-grandmother, Janet "Netta" Sinclair Glen was born in 1892. Her father, William M. Glen was the schoolmaster from 1883-1910. Her mother was Janet Mainland, originally of Vady Farm, Egilsay.

My family left Egilsay in 1979 and we all went to school there. My Uncle Ernest Alexander late of Kirbist was taught by Mr Glen.
