What was the address for the premises ? What is today Fusion nightclub can be seen in the background.

That isn't Fusion in the background but another similar building that stood nearer Junction Road. It can also be seen in picture #11826. Another version of this photo is picture #861 with info and comments.

The cycle shop was on Junction Road David. JB Wylie's butcher shop was built on the same corner site. The garage and workshop were on Burnmouth Road (where Reynold Johnston had his tyre business). I think this photo dates from around 1910 as it doesn't show the garage.

Believe it was located where Wylie's butchers shop used to be on corner Burnmouth road and Junction road.

Thanks for that Grant and Paul. I had a 1960 aerial photo of Kirkwall and could not figure out the location believing the tall building to be Fusion.

I've been in touch with Tom Leslie's grand daughter, who has sent the following list of names which were written on the back of the postcard.
