Hunting spider

Continuing the creepy-crawly theme, here's a hunting spider in my house the other night. One of a group (sometimes called Pirate Spiders I think) which, instead of trapping prey with silk hunt them on foot. Normally on eight feet - this one on only six, having lost two legs on right-hand side.

Comments:
he will just go round in circles, twa legs missing..

The spider actually seemed very little inconvenienced by his double amputation, Jimmy.

On further consideration I think this is not a true Pirate Spider (preying on other spiders). It might even be a web-maker stretching its legs - those that remain - by taking an evening stroll around my house, but it's more likely a hunting spider of some sort. By the way, if it is young enough it just might regrow the missing legs, at least in part.
