can anyone positively identify the (wrecked) ship?

Any clues as to where it is? Not Orkney.

The wreck is the HANSI ashore on North Ronaldsay 07/11/1939. Struck Reef Dyke and drifted ashore at Linklet Bay. The Dennis Ness lighthouse Seal Skerry can be seen at the top of the picture. Crew saved.

This is the HANSI which,as David says, ended ashore in Linklet Bay. Part of the wheelhouse was still there, among the boulders in 1970's.

What was she carrying? did the North Ron residents get any?

The Hansi was carrying pulp from Norway to Ellsmere Port, so I don't think the locals would have made much use of it. Never heard it mentioned about it comming ashore.
The Mim, also wrecked on the Riff Dyke within a week of the Hansi, had wheat and the locals heard the plates bursting (she was about a mile off) when the wheat got wet and swelled. I think she was on her maiden voyage.

About "Hansi"
Does anyone have pictures of the wreck of Hansi??
And do anyone bring small part of the wreck on land?
My grandfather was onboard of the ship and was saved.
