I have been aware of this picture for years but only recently looked at it properly to discover that it is HMS Royal Oak.
Coming from the north isles I am not too acquainted with the shoreline of Scapa Flow, so I was wondering:
Is this the anchorage position she was in when she was sunk?
If so, could this be one of the last pictures of HMS Royal Oak?
