Clever, Steven. My brain tells me it is rotating but after 7 rotations it interprets it as an expanding and contracting bar

Re the updated photograph. You have got the Radar turning the wrong way. It is obvious after staring at it for at least 5 minutes!

It's actually an optical illusion, if you stare at it you can see it turn in either direction.

Back in June 1993 I was temporary on the Fingal as 3rd Engineer and at this quay 10th June. As far as I know it was sold in 2000 to Tamahine, Hong Kong and renamed the Windsor Castle. It was an interesting couple of weeks I had aboard, for sure!
