1955 Stromness Lifeboat Mercy Trip to Skaill

1955 snow resulted in all roads to Quoyloo area being cut off for three weeks. Food supplies became low. Stromness lifeboat made a mercy trip to Skaill with supplies. James Linklater, Freddie Isbister, Jim Linklater and Peter Spence took the stores ashore by dinghy.
