'The farm in the foreground is North Park,and on the left just beyond this is the steading of Paplay House, inside the stone flag perimeter of the field. The farm on the left just beyond this is South Park.
On the right of the photo,standing on it's own,is what was known as North House, and beyond that,down near the shore is the South House.
The road to Cuesbay,which can be seen coming over the brae from the Millbounds area,goes right down to the South House, also turns left to the district of Guith.'

The building at the right hand side of the picture is actually Muckle House, North House is next along the shore, off picture to the right.
