On Hoy there were hundreds o huts like this when I was young, I dont think the planning dept would like the tarry felt finish today would they! what good wood was in them, mostly Canadian pine carried across the Atlantic at great cost of life with the merchant convoy ships.

That will be the same car as in picture #25718, probably belong to Andy Wylie, as this photo is from his collection
