A nice picture that brings back many memories, Sandy.

We used to avoid the long queues that built up at the Rocky Shop and walk down here most mornings to Albert Street. One of the attractions was the Big Tree bakery.

I'm told it was covered over and made into an air raid shelter during the war.

Great picture, only thing missing is Jim Harrisons workshop and the constant stream of wee boys sticking their heads through his door to watch him making the Bas and then sent on their way with a kind word.
