Down Rover

This is the North Gaulton Castle stack near Yesnaby. No I did not take the picture. It was featured in a Rover car advert - this is a copy of the advert which appeared in Radio Times 2nd to 8th July 1994.

Nice one thanks for uploading - sadly the advert is NOT on YouTube, unless it's been uploaded with the wrong title.

Hi Al, many thanks for the Rover commercial that you found and posted here. I have to hold my hand up and say that I was partly responsible for it. I was the copywriter at the advertising agency that produced it and I wrote the script for it. We had a lot of fun shooting it - enjoyed the Orkney scenery and hospitality enormously. Been looking for a copy of the film for ages.
Eddie Haydock.
