1967 Old Man of Hoy Climb
Comments:
Standing near to the ships ramp it looks like Johnnie Cload.

Johnnie is now 91 years old and as fit as a man 30 years younger!!. He is one of only two veterans of the War still alive on Hoy today.

To the left of the army officers it looks like Dod Taylor, these men were all Council road men at the time of this event.

One of the places that Johnny fought at was Monte Cassino and he also witnessed Mussolini hanging by his feet. Dad used to say that he could quote bits o' the bible no bother although we never saw him in the kirk.
