Could this be the same crane, Alastair?
Guess 1970. Any idea of the location?

Is it Hirte, the hoose that Trevor Harcus was in?

Later than 1970, Im pretty sure the firm would have been called Alexander Sutherland & Sons then.
I would guess at 72-73 I remember the Scapa Homes moulds being made on the hangar floor.

This is up Inganess Rd - house named Stronjay, or something similar.

I would say that is Norman Sutherland the plumber's house going up on Inganess Road. Something in my mind thinks that was the first Scapa Home to be built, but I am not 100% on that.
Year is wrong, much later in the 70's

Inganess Road 1974. This was a Morris crane which was traded in for the Coles crane with Davie Shearer who bought it from Orkney Harbours.
