Speakan tae the men on this rig when she was at Lyness I have learnt a little aboot her. In the form that you see in the photo she can work in 35 meters o water but the legs can be extended to 55 meters!!.
A job they did in France was drilling three meter shafts (cooling shafts for nuclear power stations) in diameter!! Some size.
Here the anchor shafts at "Billia croo" are a bit smaller but still maby two meters, twelve in number going in. The rig can jack herself right up in half an hour. Aye its an impresive bit o kit!!.
