Andersquoy Court- 18 new flats, first new council houses in Kirkwall for 30ish years. But the building has been around for a while.

I did not like this when I saw building works starting, but now its finished it looks OK. The rear of the building is nice as well. It even has a well designed drying green.

Me Grandfather was even more forthright than I am and he had a saying that aye comes tae me mind "Damn fools should never see a job half done".
I think its the best that could have been done and its jist winderfull.

Well, 'nice' is maybe better than 'jist OK', but it was the bit about the Travel Centre that stimulated my remark of 20 April.
