Established 1908, now for sale. A good going business, selling lots of things you can't get elsewhere in the toon. I was particularly tickled to find elastic snake belts still available here. Sadly no old style 'no-logo' KGS ties though.

I thought I posted a comment to the effect that I proudly owned an elastic belt with a snake-shaped fastening way back in 1938, but the comment seems to be lost in cyberspace. Anyway, that type of belt must have been around for well over 70 years. 'If it ain't broke don't fix it.'

I had one,or perhaps more than one, snake belt(s) in my childhood and remember them well. I was always amused when watching "It Ain't Half Hot Mum" as Rangi Ram (played by Michael Bates) had one keeping his turban on!
