Flooded Whitehall Village

A flooded Whitehall Village, Stronsay. I don't know when these were taken, they were given to me by my Mom many years ago. I'm sure some Stronsay folk can put a date on them.

Think it was Feb 27th/28th 1990. That is Tammy Chalmers from Rosebank in the landrover showing off! Combination of high tide and wind direction took the sea wall down. I couldn't get down to my house, Waterhall, so had to stop at Strynie for my lunch with the in-laws, Pete and Barbara Smith.
