Your pretty near with the date Vivienne, maybe out a walk on a Sunday afternoon about 1960. It was at the Coastguard Watchhut on top of the Black Crag. The person on the right is Sydney Spence not Ronald Bews (Ronald took the photo).

I was the youngest by a fortnight along with Sydney at 14, then Ronnie an year older followed by Jim and Peter another year older. Ian would have been about 20.

Hi Alan,
My god you don't look much older like noo than you do then, must have been all that fresh air lol. Must say Ian's worn well too, That might be down to his daily dose o coal dust.
