The"Reaper"at the "Clytus Steps"very similar to the "Swan"from Lerwick, one of the many old Boats which take part in a sail from Portsoy to Wick every year, I would like to see this event sometime. Added by Phil Brough.

I saw the Reaper enter Portsoy harbour in June 2007 during the traditional boat festival.It was a very fresh northerly wind, when she was coming in- she would have been better to have had a spring , for as when she came hard to port to enter the east basin, she did not make the entrance and instead she rammed the opposite pier end. What a bang -red faces all round.
