Mystery fish

Rare looking fish caught thrashing about in the eeb down at Scapa pier on the 31st of October ,can anybody identify what species it is ??

I found out this fish is called a Rays Bream there has been a few recent sightings of this fish washing up around orkney

Looks like a Ray's Bream. They do turn up occasionally at this time of year.

Hi. This fish is a member of the sea bream family commonly found in the Mediterranean. Looks very similar to the Dorado or Gilthead Bream. Makes excellent eating when grilled. The Dorado is also reared in sea farms off Tunisia.

Agree this is a Rays Bream. It's all in the tail.
