A tribute to my sister-in-law Beatrice Simpson formerly of Upper Setter, Melsetter, Island of Hoy who passed away on the 2nd October 2010 aged 58.
This photo was taken by Harry Russell at our wedding in the Y.M.Longhope.

Beatrice married Nick Alcock and had two sons Nigel and Robert and stepdaughter Kelly.
She lived in Lincoln since 1972/73.

Sad to hear she has died. I remember her calling along us years ago, probably when she was still at KGS. She and my father were second cousins.

Poor beatrice,a lovely fun lady,who,when she lived with her sister in wick, about 1970 i think, used to take me,Robert and !ain to the cafe every Saturday! She had some record collection too!..... Lovely memories of her.
