A great deal of interest has been shown recently of R.Garden's lemonade factory.
As far as I know it was part of the R.Garden complex on Bridge St.which was destroyed by fire in the late 1930's.
This photo was taken by the late J.W.Sinclair and I suspect that one of the two ladies is none other than my late mother.
This would date this photo at c1929/30.
The lemonade factory must have moved from here after the fire, to the St.Catherines Place/East Road site,as in picture #4595.

You are perfectly correct - it did move to the St.Catherines Place/East Road site. I used to work part time in the factory when it was being managed by Ronald Barnett - there was two other workers - both female - a mother and a daughter.
Sorry - But I can't remember their names..?
