Opening Stromness Shopping Week, late 50s

Late 1950s
My father opening Stromness Shopping Week. Some will know the exact year, and the identity of all concerned.
My Dad must have been pretty boring, for Dr Cromarty at right is clearly fighting drowsiness, while the military gent between Sandy Tait and Allan Bullen has taken to sucking his swagger-stick.
(This was before I acquired a decent camera, so apologies for unsharpness.)

Comments:
I had an 8mm film of this Queen in her carriage and part of the Saturday night parade. Glad to now know the date. Got the film copied to disc but lost some of the quality.
The 8mm film wasn't that great to start with.

I think the Queen is Grace Stevenson and the lady in waiting, with the yellow dress,is Fielda Flett.
