It is brilliant that Orkney is a growing hub for the marine renewables. What we see happening in the local waters these days, like this, is pretty awesome. Mind you, it's early invention days yet, almost pre internal combustion engine and Wright Brothers stuff. Orkney was involved in the late '80s too, for the fledgling wind industry. The experimental Burgher Hill propeller resulted, however, in a lot of money and jobs for, for example, Denmark.
