Something puzzling about this striking image. Looks like a cross between a photograph and a pencil or charcoal drawing. Very effective anyhow, but could it be my turn Wolfgang to use the expression... 'fake'?

You can almost feel the wind whippan around yer collar an its far fae a fake photo i wad say.
For a start its a stormy sky an the lighthoose is black an white. Very good photo i wad say-well done, yer luky no tae hae blown away that night!
