The Enterprise and Bon Ami alongside and what looks like the Victorene at moorings below Hatston. Geordie and Alex Costie owners of the fishing boats and Robert Swanney owner the Victorene. She was something to do with the German Navy, sleek boat built for speed. I painted it one summer in the basin where she lay opposite the old harbour office. She was towed out of Kirkwall along with the Zeemu by the Ewing McGruer I think to Scrabster or Wick. Smith Foubister has pictures and a story to tell about it.
